We are seeking an Application Developer to join Zions Bancorporation. The Application Developer will be part of the Public Web Site team where we support the Enterprise Marketing team by developing public facing websites for Zions and supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Application Developer plays a key role in developing features and enhancements related to public websites, marketing campaigns and journeys, and other marketing initiatives. These initiatives align with our Enterprise Strategy for acquiring new customers and growing our business.
The Application Developer will:
- Participate in the software design, development, and implementation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (hereafter SFMC) based on business requirements.
- Design and implement software integration between Adobe Experience Manager and SFMC.
- Support and develop API integrations.
- Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing.
- Assist in the conceptual and technical design, using object-oriented design techniques and SFMC best practices.
- Assist with the estimation of development tasks, project planning, risk identification and mitigation planning.
- Independently collaborate with design and subject matter teams and business owners as needed during the design and implementation.
- Independently manage individual time and tasks.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related majors and at least 4 years of experience in professional software development.
At least 2 years hands-on experience in SFMC development with knowledge of Email Studio, Ampscript, Journeys, Mobile Studio, and Automations.
Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Maven, Git, REST/SOAP, databases, Microservices, JASON and XML. - Must have strong analysis, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems and meet deadlines; be proactive, have high degree of initiative, accountability and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed/remote environment.
- Experience with one or more Java concepts and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, JMS, JUnit, IntelliJ.
- Experience with project automation technologies: Azure Devops, Jira, Selenium, Digital.AI, general CI/CD methodology.
- Working knowledge in Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets) and exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud products (Forms, Analytics, Launch).
- Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, Apache Http, Solr, Containers, Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company’s primary technology and operations center.
