Appraisal Reviewer - Commercial (TX, CO, AZ, WA, CA, UT, NV, ID, OR)
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field and 5+ years of experience in real estate appraisal, review, evaluation and/or related field. Commercial appraisal or valuation experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Certified General Appraiser license required.
- MAI or AI-GRS designation preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial RE appraisal principles, practices and applications, extensive knowledge of USPAP and Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines, advanced knowledge of financial math/applications, financial modeling and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis is required.
- Must have advanced analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, bank management and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Proficient in related appraisal software, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge or experience with the RIMS appraisal management system is desired.
