Zions Bancorporation Enterprise Recruiting team is looking for a Campus Recruiting & University Relations Specialist to support our Internship and Banker Development Programs. This position will create and build the university relations processes and activities to ensure increased applicant flow and candidate interactions for roles within the Zions Bancorporation footprint, including within our technology division. This position will work in the Zions Bancorporation Technology Center in Midvale, UT with a hybrid in-office work schedule.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruiting plans by identifying target universities through career fairs, campus interviews, student organizations, information sessions, banking panels, and other university-related activities.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting activities for Internship and Banker Development Program roles across the Zions Bancorporation footprint, including screening, selecting, interviewing, and evaluating candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and organizational leaders to coordinate and manage campus events. Select and train campus event and interviewing teams.
  • Design and manage the Summer Intern Program, including scheduling and coordinating seminars, social events, and training sessions.
  • Identify branding opportunities and establish and maintain Bancorp brand/image.
  • Maintain accurate and timely data reporting on candidate activities and campus engagement ROI.
  • Manage intern feedback throughout and at the end of the internship. Coordinate with host managers on intern assignment and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Travel up to 20% as needed, particularly during fall and spring recruiting seasons, to build and maintain relationships with university career services, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Assist with other duties when needed to support the recruiting team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience establishing on-campus relationships and building a strong employment brand at key universities.
  • Ability to collaborate with university career centers and staff to source qualified candidates.
  • Strong sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in sourcing, interviewing, and assessing strong and qualified candidates.
  • Excellent networking and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in managing internal and external partnerships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Outstanding presentation and professionalism skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule based on recruiting events and schedule.
