Zions Bank is now accepting resumes for our Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager in the Real Estate Banking Group (REBG). 

 

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:

 

  • Gather, interpret, analyze, and present financial data, other loan information and reports to REBG staff and management.   
  • Provide oversight and support of compliance regulations, reviewing both internal and external functions and ensure zero defects in reporting and data integrity
  • Coordinate oversight and training on bank credit systems with REBG staff. 
  • Participate with senior REBG management and Credit Administration in portfolio risk review meetings, as well as department problem loan meetings. 
  • Act as intermediary between REBG and Credit Management on all REBG originated loans transferred and managed by Credit Management.   
  • Develop and maintain relationships with documentation management, credit management, credit administration, and department staff. 
  • Ensure lending objectives, policies, procedures and practices are followed.
  • Create and revise procedures to improve efficiency of workflow.
  • Resolves problems and issues with team members to accomplish established objectives.
  • Use judgment and creativity within policies and practices.
  • Assist in development and implementation of departmental policies.  
  • Interact with executives and other Bank staff. Interactions might involve controversial situations, influencing and persuading other senior level employees or managers.
  • Remain flexible and take on other duties as required.

Successful candidates will have the following credentials:  

 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (Masters preferred) and 6+ years of commercial/business loans, lending, credit analysis, loan risk grading, loan workouts or other directly related experience (managerial experience preferred).  A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements.
  • Solid working knowledge of Commercial Real Estate lending (prior lending experience preferred), underwriting, contracts, and experience working with real estate loans. 
  • Excellent management, organizational, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem resolution, negotiation, and analytical skills.
