Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Corporate Banking Analyst based in Provo, Utah.
Successful Corporate Banking Analysts typically have an interest in accounting, economics, and reading. They have been told they are good writers, well organized, can prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail, and have a general curiosity and interest in business, the community, and the world. A successful analyst will be expected to know how to work on a team, learn quickly from mistakes, and can internalize a sense of urgency to meet team and/or customer deadlines.
We manage some of the largest and most visible relationships in the bank (and the State of Utah), so attention to detail, integrity, quick thinking, professionalism, the ability to effectively communicate, and a willingness and capacity to learn are critical to the role.
Ideal candidates will have these skills and experience:
- Assist with analysis of financial statements, identify trends, test financial ratios, monitor a portfolio of customer loans
. - Request information from customers, respond to customer requests with a 5-star service mentality, providing your insights to help our institution make more informed decisions while directly contributing to our bottom line.
- Review and initiate the creation of loan documents for legal and structural considerations, to ensure they are in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Provide customer service on behalf of loan officers/relationship managers and team leaders.
- Assist with resolution of customer requests.
- May be responsible for disbursement of funds.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelors and some experience in loan processes, credit, credit analysis, documentation or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Basic knowledge of credit, credit analysis and experience working with various types of loans.
- Ability to meet deadlines, audit documentation and solve problems.
- Must have good communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of computer software, including spreadsheets, word processing and various types of credit analysis software.
