Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Cybersecurity program based in Salt Lake City, Utah.  We are looking for an individual that is customer focused, flexible, adapts quickly to change, understands technology, and is constantly looking for ways of doing things better.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level project manager with an excellent track record of leadership, accountability, and interpersonal skills.  She or he is comfortable working in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.   She or he will take initiative and produce timely and high-quality business outcomes in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

 

Candidates for this position must have the skills and experience necessary to:

 

  • Ensure business objectives are met by the project as scheduled
  • Establish effective value metrics and measurements
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams including external vendors to ensure project completion
  • Identify and appropriately engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including proficient presentations to senior executives
  • Plan and carry out organizational change activities
  • Identify, assess, and devise mitigation plans for risks and track them consistently
  • Manage vendor engagements
  • Plan the work and identify necessary resources
  • Obtain funding, acquire products, and reconcile project costs including internal labor
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication
  • Ensure high-quality documentation of project delivery

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Technology (software and infrastructure) competence highly desirable
  • High-level understanding of cybersecurity topics, technologies, and architectures preferred
  • 6+ years of experience applying project management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and change management practices and techniques or other directly related experience in medium to large corporate environments.
  • SAFe Scrum Master or Project Manager coursework or certification is a plus
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, computer science, information systems or related discipline.
  • Polished leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
  • Relationship managements skills paying specific attention to building trust with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Strong negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft applications and PPM tools
  • Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity
  • Adept at personal organization and desire to continuously improve

A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

 

Ideally this position will be in Salt Lake City, UT but there is a possibility for remote work.

Pay Range: $100,000-$130,000

Bonus: This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
