Zions Bank has just opened an opportunity for a Dealer Banking Business Development Officer based in the Dealer Banking Department. We are looking to expand the Dealer Banking footprint into new markets and continue to build out our $1 billion+ portfolio. We are seeking a dynamic individual to help them grow.
Location:
- This is a Remote role, but the candidate must reside in the Phoenix Metropolitan area /Maricopa County.
- This role will travel within Arizona, Colorado and Nevada.
- There will be times you will visit the offices of National Bank of Arizona, Nevada State Bank, and Vectra Bank, all of which are affiliates of Zions Bancorporation, where you will interact and coordinate with Commercial Officers at those banks.

What will your day look like? You will be:
- Source and develop prospects, new clients and selling business banking services and products to dealers.
- Develop sales strategies and expanding referral sources.
- Pass off prospects to Dealer Banking Relationship managers to close relationship.
- Gather data to be used in selling process, participating in community organizations and activities, and assisting prospective clients in completing loan and services applications.
- Incumbents do not have responsibility for maintaining on-going relationships.
Who should apply? We want someone who has:
- Requires a Bachelors in Business, Finance or a related field and 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, loans, banking/finance products and services or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Preference given to individuals with prior Dealer related marketing experience.
- Working knowledge of sales techniques, business development, banking/finance products and services.
- Must have solid customer service and negotiation skills.
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid problem resolution and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with internal staff on relationships.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and general PC's skills.

*This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 - $135,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
