Zions Bancorporation is looking for an experienced Digital Compliance Officer to work in our Salt Lake City, UT location, supporting the Operations Compliance team.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience to:

 

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a compliance program designed to ensure that all areas of the department and/or company are complying with applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Specialize in Digital Compliance, with oversight for the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, Regulation II, WCAG, Regulation GG, and others.
  • Perform periodic tests to ensure that programs are operating effectively.
  • Oversee the receipt and distribution of regulations and regulatory correspondence throughout the company and assures that actions required by regulations are implemented by management.
  • Assure that reports are compiled or completed as required by the appropriate company officers.
  • May assist General Counsel on matters involving litigation, which may affect the company's compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Act as a coordinator in projects involving information disclosure, class actions, deregulation, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate banking experience.
  • 0-2+ years of financial services experience, preferably in a compliance area or other compliance-related industry, or commensurate experience.
  • Knowledge of audit data and reviews, financial principals, compliance, and regulatory issues related to the department and/or Company.
  • Knowledge of compliance policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Ability to identify and solve problems or issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and can work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in standard word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and other related software programs.
