  • Ensure transactions are closed in accordance with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac requirements, internal credit approvals, delegated authority, compliance standards, and platform execution procedures
  • Maintain comprehensive closing checklists, status trackers, open-item lists, documentation logs, and post-closing follow-up items for each transaction
  • Partner with underwriting and originations to confirm that approved deal terms, credit conditions, loan sizing, borrower structure, collateral requirements, and agency-specific requirements are accurately reflected in closing documents
  • Review third-party work product and closing deliverables for completeness, consistency, and alignment with transaction structure and agency requirements
  • Drive closing calls, manage issue lists, coordinate timing, and keep all parties aligned on required deliverables, funding milestones, and execution deadlines
  • Support loan delivery, document custody, post-closing trailing documents, final title policies, recorded instruments, collateral files, and audit-ready file completion
  • Serve as a senior resource to junior closers and transaction team members, helping develop closing discipline, standard procedures, templates, and quality control practices
  • Contribute to the development of scalable closing workflows, reporting tools, internal controls, escalation protocols, and best practices as the agency lending platform grows
  • Take on additional execution, process, and leadership responsibilities as the platform evolves
