340BDirect, a business line of Procuity*, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, is seeking a self-motivated Healthcare Financial Analytics Business Analyst.  The position is remote.  This position will deliver perceptive interpretations of healthcare data by evaluating current customer performance statistics, market dynamics, and patterns and trends in data exchanged with external trading partners.  The position will: have responsibility for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of data exchange with external trading partners; create and deliver interpretive analyses using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and other tools; and look for ways to drive automation and efficiency. This position’s focus is to support the organization by delivering insights, identifying barriers, and solving challenges that drive the business forward.  This position will coordinate with multiple business areas.  The successful candidate will have some experience with business intelligence tools and SQL. The successful candidate will have a proficiency for observation, deduction, and logical reasoning, be internally driven, have a keen attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind, have an understanding of pharmacy claims, have a sense of business awareness, and have the desire to solve problems and answer questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and monitor pharmacy 340B program performance.
  • Collaborate with external trading partners to include responsibility for integration, reporting, performance monitoring, and operational issue resolution.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and goals from various stakeholders.
  • Gain access to necessary data though SQL queries, Excel extracts, and various tools.
  • Interpret the data to provide meaningful answers or recommendations.
  • Identify patterns and trends in the data; ability to forecast; ability to tell the data’s story.
  • Create and deliver custom reports/dashboards and handle special projects as needed.
  • Perform advanced analytical activities, including defining, measuring, and communicating core operational metrics and providing insight to the business.
  • Perform both routine and ad hoc reports and analyses.
  • Validate data is queried and reported in a manner that drives efficiency and reduces errors.
  • Manage and schedule small project timelines and coordinate projects through initial idea to completion.
  • May coordinate and prioritize the work of others.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's business, finance or a related field and some experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
  • Professional experience in 340B, pharmacy, healthcare, or related data analytics, with an emphasis on vendor or customer relationship management.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Must be a self-starter/self-motivated.
  • Experience using SQL preferred.
  • Experience working with and manipulating large sets of data.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and data driven skills required.
  • Proficient with data mining, interpretation, and explanation.
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects, determine the best course of action, identify resources needed to complete a project, obtain valid data, and create clear and understandable reports that answer the questions being asked or solve the problems at hand.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and other employees; exercise good judgement in choosing appropriate communication channels.
  • Proven track record as a team player with strong business ethics.
  • Proficient use of MS Excel, Access, Word, and SQL. Prefer experience with Power BI and other BI tools.

Pay range (based on experience and location) : $60,000-$85,000
