Zions Bancorporation is currently hiring an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Credit Training team! 

 

Join our dynamic Credit Training team, where you’ll help shape the credit expertise of our bankers through impactful training initiatives. This team is dedicated to designing, delivering, and facilitating a wide variety of training courses and programs that cater to all levels of experience. From introductory accounting courses that lay a solid foundation of credit knowledge to advanced programs tailored for our most seasoned bankers, your work will empower newcomers and refine the core credit and financial skills of experienced professionals alike. Designs learning solutions such as online courses, instructor led courses, instructional video, and job aids to help meet business goals. Topics vary based on business need and can include leadership, systems, procedural, credit, sales, customer service, etc. Works with various stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine needs and isolate targeted behaviors.

 

Assists in data collection and analytics.  Collects data on courses and programs taught and summarizes data into departmental reports.  Assists in identifying new data points and measurements to capture for reporting. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·           Partners with the business to develop a highly performing workforce, change employee behavior, identify learning needs, and develop learning solutions

·           Identifies behavioral objectives to meet business goals

·           Selects delivery methods (online, workshop, virtual, OJT, etc.), designs, and develops content

·           Evaluates training effectiveness and impact

·           Evaluates and recommend external vendor programs as appropriate

·           Manages a portion of the training portfolio by evaluating and updating existing solutions

·           Assists in data departmental data collection

·           Other duties as assigned

 

 

Required Software Skills:

 

·           Articulate Storyline

·           Microsoft Excel

 

Preferred Software Skills:

 

·           TechSmith Camtasia

·           Adobe CC software, primarily:

·           InDesign

·           Premiere

·           Illustrator

·           Photoshop

·           After Effects

·           Online survey tools

·           Microsoft Office Professional

·           Power BI

Education and Experience:

 

·           Requires a Bachelor’s in education, psychology, communications, business or a related field and

·           2+ yrs experience in online and instructor led training development, adult education or other directly related experience.

·           A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
