Municipal Finance Relationship Manager: SLC
What you need to bring to the table:
- Requires a Bachelor’s and 2+ years of experience in the fields of public finance/municipal bond investment banking work/or banking, accounting, or finance related to governmental entities.
- Some experience with municipal debt issues, identifying, structuring and closing transactions. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Solid knowledge of public finance/municipal bond investment banking work and municipal debt issues
- Ability to identify, structure and close transactions.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting or finance related to government entitles.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to clearly and succinctly express complex financial concepts both verbally and in writing.
- Superior expertise in managing multiple project-oriented tasks and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while being team-oriented.
- Excellent problem resolution and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn Federal Tax Law as it relates to municipal finance as well as statutory financing rules and regulations.
- Must possess a high level of motivation, initiative and leadership skills.
- Requires outstanding analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proven strategic thinking, communication, time management, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to quickly learn other finance-related software products as needed.
- Ability to lead and train lower level staff.
