We have just opened an opportunity for a National Real Estate Business Development Officer based in UT or CO. We’re seeking an experienced SBA 504 Real Estate lending professional to manage and grow our business from the Dakotas to Kansas, and over to the Rocky Mountains. It’s a big territory with big potential! 


Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:


  • Source and develop prospects, new clients and sell business banking services and products.
  • Develop sales strategies and expand referral sources.
  • Pass off prospects to Business Banking Relationship managers to close relationships.
  • Gather data to be used in selling process, participate in community organizations and activities, and assist prospective clients in completing loan and services applications.
  • Supervise or lead lower level BDO's
  • May be asked to perform other duties and special projects.


What you need to bring to the table:  


  • 5+ years of experience with SBA 504 Real Estate lending.
  • Requires a Bachelors’ degree in Business, Finance or a related field and 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, banking/finance products and services or other directly related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales techniques, business development, and banking/finance products and services.
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to quickly learn other finance-related software products as needed.
  • Ability to lead and train lower level staff.
  • Able to travel
