NATIONAL SEARCH - Indirect Sourcing Category Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline and vendor management, strategic sourcing, contracting or other directly related experience
- Demonstrate successful sourcing, contracting and negotiation experience
- Ability to think strategically and execute/problem solve tactical issues
- Results oriented self-starter with high energy level
- Proven negotiation and problem resolution skills; with a positive attitude focused on win/win solutions
Necessary Skills:
- Knowledge of vendor management, vendor relations, legal contracts, contract negotiations and service agreements Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and practices, including industry and vendor marketplace analysis
- Project management and task coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines, work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Analytical, judgment and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate high degree of initiative and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to understand and navigate in a broader business environment
