Salesforce Development Manager - Business Technology Platform Services
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related degree and 8+ years’ experience managing software development teams.
- Requires experience managing the development of complex business technology and platforms, systems, processes and tools
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud preferred
- Advanced understanding of DevOps principles and practices, test engineering, and agile processes
- SAFe experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of financial/banking systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior business and technical management, vendors and tactical staff employees
- Ability to set and meet long term goals and maintain high quality work standards
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Proven ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions

Mission for Salesforce Development Manager
To implement and support integrated Salesforce solutions in a safe & sound manner, aligned with business priorities, delivered with agility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Build the Team (0-3 months)
Transition existing staff from current manager
Hire additional development and testing resources
Work with HR to ensure job families are appropriate for all staff
Align staff development plans with personal and departmental objectives
Mature the team’s agile practices
Provide
Architect/Engineering support for a new SAFe Release Train and
Salesforce Development Practice (3-12 months)
Partner with the Release Train Engineer and Business stakeholders to establish a program increment planning process
Assimilate business-as-usual and critical project work into our third-party managed Salesforce Unification Project
Define and implement a testing strategy to support the Salesforce Unification Project
Coordinate integrations with all supporting technology teams
Partner in the creation and execution of a Salesforce Development Practice (CoE)
Ensure Safety & Soundness (3-6 months)
Ensure compliance with all technology and application standards
Establish measurement and monitoring to support appropriate application and vendor SLAs, KPIs, and KRIs
