The Solutions Architect will work within the Enterprise architecture team, your core focus will be helping to mature the digital workplace ecosystem and expand its cloud presence. You will be providing solution level guidance in implementing new capabilities to this domain and will be viewed as an expert in the digital workplace domain. You must possess a passion for cloud technology and a customer-focused personality. This role reports to the Manger of Solution Design & Architecture.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and execution of business initiative projects that introduce new applications or technologies.
  • Responsible for: promoting informed vendor, product and technology decisions; for ensuring that solutions meet operational requirements; and for ensuring that solutions are aligned with IT standards and strategy.
  • Constructs Referential architectures and patterns to guide strong Architectural design
  • Conducts individual project solution architecture design and review ensuring compliance with referential architecture, standards, and controls
  • Orchestrates and drives new technology Proof of Concept initiatives
  • Defines new standards within the Digital Workplace domain and ensures alignment with existing standards.
  • Assists Business Analysts, System Owners in defining technology and non-functional requirements and solutions.
  • Be a technical subject matter expert and trusted adviser for engineering functions responsible for cloud migration
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Six or more (6+) years of professional experience in Information technology, Cyber Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to author and present materials ranging from detailed technical specifications to high-level presentations.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; able to quickly digest any issue/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Technical Qualifications:

  • Experience with designing solutions based on Microsoft 365 products (Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, etc.) is required.
  • Experience with End-User Computing technologies (Windows 10, Mobile Device Management/Mobile Application Management, personal computing, smartphones & tablets, etc.) is also required.
  • Experience architecting/designing solutions built on any of the big 3 cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Container based delivery experience
  • Ability to move between executive value conversations, high level architectural review/design and tactical work of delivering service
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
  • Experience with designing reference architectures and patterns
  • Containerization, Virtualization and Data Center knowledge
  • TOGAF certification a bonus


A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.


Ideally this position will be in Salt Lake City, UT but is open to work remotely.


Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000

Bonus: This position will be eligible for a discretionary bonus
