Banker Development Program

The Zions Banker Development Program is part of a broader corporation-wide strategy to educate, develop and retain the next generation of commercial lenders and credit professionals. The program targets recent college graduates who are looking to enter the banking industry and hone their craft. With a consistent bench strength of strong internal bankers, the bank is well positioned for future organizational needs.

What does the Banker Development Program offer?

  • Exposure to vast career opportunities at Zions Bank
  • A solid foundation in the basics of banking and credit
  • A defined career path that begins as a Credit Analyst and evolves into a sales or portfolio management role
  • Opportunity to apply finance and accounting skills to credit and business risk analysis

Transform Your Career

Upon completion of the program, participants will be considered for permanent internal positions, such as assistant relationship officers, relationship managers, portfolio managers and more.

Internships

Every year, we look to hire junior/senior level undergraduate and graduate students for our summer internship program, starting in May and running through mid-August. All internships are full-time, paid opportunities located primarily in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. In a typical year, applications are accepted mid-September though November for STEM positions and January though March for general positions.

Our internship program gives students the opportunity to experience hands-on work as a member of one of our core departments. Interns also enjoy networking opportunities together and presentations from company leaders. From special projects to collaborating with executives, students will leave feeling energized, knowledgeable, and excited about the banking and technology industry.

Launch Your Career

The available intern positions close as they are filled, so be sure to apply early to be considered.
