A Multimedia Team Lead directs the strategic development and production of multimedia content across all marketing channels. This leadership role oversees a team of content creators while establishing technical and creative standards for our banking brand's visual storytelling.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct the multimedia content strategy, establishing production standards and creative direction for the team.
  • Lead multimedia projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Coordinate with various teams, including graphic designers, videographers and copywriters to produce high-quality content. 
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to align content with overall marketing strategies.
  • Manage team resources, workload distribution, and production schedules.
  • Develop and implement multimedia production workflows and quality standards.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development to team members.
  • Evaluate emerging multimedia technologies and recommend strategic investments.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms and materials.
  • Ensure all content is free from errors, consistent in tone, and adheres to brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Digital Media, Communications or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in multimedia production with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. Experience in financial services preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop multimedia content strategies that drive business results
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements for marketing communications
  • Understanding of financial products and services to guide content development
  • Knowledge of digital distribution strategies and content optimization for different platforms
  • Proficiency in video production software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and audio editing tools
  • Strong technical knowledge of digital formats, compression techniques and multimedia delivery platforms
  • Understanding of responsive design principles for multimedia content across various devices 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors, executives, and other stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical issues and optimize multimedia content
  • Team leadership experience with demonstrated ability to mentor creative professionals
  • Budget management experience and resource allocation skills
  • Strong project management abilities with experience using production management tools
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful multimedia projects and campaigns

Salary Range: $124,000-$182,000 (depending on experience and other job related factors)

This is an in-office position that will sit at a local corporate hub 5 days a week. This is not a hybrid role.
